Welcome back readers, hope you are having an amazing day. In today's article, we are going to be talking about High Terpene Full Spectrum Extract (HTFSE) and High Cannabinoid Full Spectrum Extract (HCFSE) which are some new extracts that have been making waves in the cannabis world. In this article, you’ll learn what they are, what they do, and when you should use them, as well as any studies on them.
HTFSE
High Terpene Full Spectrum Extract also known as HTFSE or “The Sauce” are cannabis concentrate that contains a wide range of terpenes, flavonoids, and cannabinoids, this differs from other extracts that normally only focus on a single compound.
According to leafly.com HTFSE often contains anywhere from 13-40% terpenes but there have been a lot of conflicting claims so the best way to know is if it was tested. HTFSE also contains high amounts of THCA which is a non-psychoactive component of THC.
Benefits
Adding HTFSE to your next sesh can help enhance the aroma and flavour of whatever strain you’re smoking. While it can be added to a bowl or joint, it is best used when dabbing to maintain the proper temperature and not ruin the terpenes.
Terpenes have also been shown to synergize with cannabinoids, which will enhance the therapeutic effects of cannabis.
HTFSE offers some differences compared to cannabis or HCFSE. HTFSE often has lower amounts of THC which can lead to reduced intoxication which can be nice if you prefer a more mellow high.
HCFSE
High Cannabinoid Full Spectrum Extract also known as HCFSE are cannabis concentrates that focus on having high levels of cannabinoids. While HCFSE has terpenes and flavonoids like HTFSE, the former has a wider range of cannabinoids such as THC, THCA, CBD, CBDA, CBG, CBN, CBT, etc.
Benefits
How you use HCFSE is quite similar to HTFSE, HCFSE is great for adding some more flavour and aroma to your sesh much like HTFSE but it can also boost the THC psychoactive effects.
Conclusion
While there isn’t much research on these extracts and how they interact with each other as well as other cannabinoids and terpenes, from what we do know they can be a very beneficial add-on to your sesh if you are looking for some more flavour, and aroma, or a bit more of a rounded high.
